Contract Management Officer
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the new South Wales and Gwent Joint Commercial and Procurement Services for a Contract Management Officer to lead the commercial relationship with key suppliers, ensuring that commercial issues are negotiated effectively and that best value is delivered from key contracts.
The police service offers the opportunity to gain experience in the procurement cycle of a wide range of goods and services. This post will form part of the team covering Victim and Custody Services, Professional and Operational Services, Corporate Services and Soft Facilities Management, Uniform and Firearms Equipment.
The post will be based at Vantage Point, Cwmbran but in line with our agile working policy, the successful candidate may work flexibly, both in the office and from home, with some travelling required for meetings.
