COMMERCIAL SOLICITOR PO5 £45,375.00-£48,546.00 


South Wales Police are seeking to appoint a full time Commercial Solicitor within its Joint Legal Services team. The purpose of the role is to assist in providing a comprehensive legal service to the Chief Constables and the Police and Crime Commissioners for South Wales and Gwent Police. This will include advising and drafting on often complex commercial agreements, from public procurement contracts to collaboration agreements with other public sector organisations.   

Joint Legal Services is a Collaborative team, supporting both South Wales and Gwent Police and covers  a breadth of legal areas covering employment, operations, litigation and corporate law issues that affect policing. 
To be successful in this challenging role you must be a qualified solicitor or barrister with a current practising certificate and able to evidence continuous professional development.

The successful Candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to MV/SC Vetting.
