Assistant Solicitor

South Wales Police are seeking to appoint a full time Assistant Solicitor within its Joint Legal Services team. The purpose of the role is to assist in providing a comprehensive legal service to the Chief Constables and the Police and Crime Commissioners for South Wales and Gwent Police.    

Joint Legal Services is a Collaborative team, supporting both South Wales and Gwent Police and covers  a breadth of legal areas covering employment, operations, litigation and corporate law issues that affect policing.

To be successful in this challenging role you must be a qualified solicitor or barrister with a current practising certificate and able to evidence continuous professional development.
