Senior Procurement Officer (fixed term)

An exciting opportunity has arisen within South Wales and Gwent Joint Commercial and Procurement Services for a Senior Procurement Officer (fixed term to March 2025).  The post-holder will benefit from smart hybrid working policies, with a mixture of home working and working in South Wales Police HQ, with occasional travel to Gwent Police. 

The post-holder will lead and deliver complex and strategic collaborative and local procurement projects for South Wales and Gwent Police, including high value tenders and frameworks.   You will work closely within a small team, having responsibility for your own procurement projects, guiding the client departments through the process from start to finish and also continue to contract manage many of those contracts following mobilisation.
