20 hours to cover Colwyn Bay over 5 days per week – plus 1 in 4 weekend working at St Asaph

This is a great opportunity to join North Wales Police as a cleaning operative working 20 hours per week permanent contract. With a keen eye for detail, take pride in your work as you maintain the cleanliness of the buildings through various cleaning duties. Training will be provided to become proficient in appropriate cleaning methods, such as the use of cleaning equipment and best cleaning practices, following health & safety and use of personal protective equipment which is provided. Days and hours worked can be flexible subject to agreement, within the core hours of 6am and 4pm.

Salary - Hourly rate £9.99

What does the role of Cleaning Operative entail?

Due to the nature of the role, you’ll regularly carry out physical activities which would include:- walking, standing, climbing, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, grasping, pushing and pulling objects, lifting and/or moving up to 25lbs/ 12kgs, repetitive bending and lifting of items and repetitive arm movements etc.

Health and safety is of the utmost importance, therefore your day to day duties will comply with health and safety policies, procedures and best cleaning practices ie. cleaning specification, periodic cleaning table, cleaning induction and best practice and risk assessments.

What will I need to be considered for this Cleaning Operative role?

No previous experience or qualifications are required, however due to travel requirements you must possess a full driving licence.
