Join us on Tuesday 12th July at 12pm via this link Click here to join the meeting

Why register?

  • The application process isn’t easy, but by registering you will learn more about what to expect and how you can prepare for your application by attending one of our familiarisation sessions.
  • You’ll gain an insight into the role of a Police Officer so you are prepared for the online College of Policing assessment centre and in-force interview, you will learn more about the support available from our Workforce Representation Team and find out detailed information about what happens when you apply, what tests you need to do and how to prepare for them.
  • We’ll also share with you what happens in the pre-employment checks and what you’ll be doing in training.
  • This will also be a chance for you to ask any questions about the role, the recruitment process or about North Wales Police.

What happens when I register?

  • Just to be clear your registration isn’t your application for the role. It’s your way of expressing you are interested and want to learn more.
  • We will share dates and times of our familiarisation sessions with you. These are all virtual so you can join from anywhere and they are run throughout the year.
  • You will be sent an application link to apply for the role.
  • We will share with you the dates of the College of Policing assessment centre. It will be important you are able to attend these dates if you apply.
  • We will share with you Workforce Representation Team events. The team have initiatives including providing appropriate advice, encouragement and support throughout the recruitment process. If you’re from a Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic (B.A.M.E) background, minority religion group, Female,  LGBT+, have a disability or neurodiverse condition (e.g. dyslexia), the Workforce Representation Team may be able to offer you Positive Action support depending on the role you are applying for. Visit our Positive Action pageto learn more about how this works and our commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
