REGIONAL MANAGER – East Midlands.

 

North Wales Police will be the Host Force.

 

These posts are open to external applicants, existing Police Staff or Police Inspectors. Priority will be given to secondment of existing Police employees with the other options considered on a case by case basis.

 

Direct contracts will be open ended, secondments to be reviewed 31.03.23.

 

Interviews to be held on 10th March 2021 on-line via Microsoft Teams.

 

Applications from Police Officers at the rank of Sergeant may be considered but support will need to be secured from the respective home force (prior to application) for progression to the rank of Inspector over a specified period.

 

Applications will need to be supported by  the NPCC in your Home Force as appropriate.

 

Salary – Inspector Pay Scales or Police Staff £50,250 to £55,665

 

Hours – 37 per week for police staff or 40 per week for police officers.

 

North Wales Police is proud to be the Host Force for the Forensic Collision Investigation Network (FCIN) which will deliver a professional, impartial and accredited service across England and Wales.

 

This role will engage at both tactical and functional level with forces, ensuring service delivery is maintained and national standards and policies are implemented and upheld.

 

The post holder will form part of the Forensic Collision Investigation Network Management Team, responsible for developing and strengthening the Network. To support both the FCIN Regional Technical Manager and networked force FCIBs within their region. Initially, as part of the Transition Team, they will lead forces through the stages of transition, to achieve accredited member status into ‘business as usual’.

 

Post transition, the post-holder will manage service delivery and performance of forces’ Forensic Collision Investigation resources, whilst they undertake all accredited activities.

 

The post will be home based, and there will be a requirement to travel throughout England and Wales including regular visits to North Wales.
