FCIN - QUALITY MANAGER – North Wales Police is the Host Force.


This opportunity is open to existing Police Staff or external applicants. Consideration will be given to either a secondment until 31.03.23 (at which point it will be reviewed) or permanent appointment to the host Force.


 

Interviews to be held on 19th March 2021 online via Microsoft Teams.

 

Salary – upto £55,000 inclusive of market premium

 

Hours – 37 per week

 

North Wales Police is proud to be the Host Force for the Forensic Collision Investigation Network (FCIN) which will deliver a professional, impartial and accredited service across England and Wales.

 

This role will report to the FCIN Head of Function and Strategic Board, oversee the FCIN Quality Management System, ensuring its compliance with International Standards, Forensic Science Regulator’s Codes and UKAS requirements.

 

The role will also enable accreditation of all Forensic Collision Investigation Bases across England and Wales through a scheduled external and internal audit programme ensuring the integrity and provision of a transparent and robust forensic science service.

 

There will also be a required for the role to manage and co-ordinate the activities of the Quality Management team responsible for all audits, non-conformance investigations, corrective actions, National Case Management System.

 

The post-holder will promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement across all FCIN member forces.

 

The post will be home based, and there will be a requirement to travel throughout England and Wales including regular visits to North Wales.
