Vacancies in the next 6 – 12 months

 

£20,115 - £22,275 per annum, plus 20% shift allowance and 14.47% weekend working allowance (equating to a potential salary of £27,048 - £29,953 on a full shift pattern.)37 hours per week

Thursday 14th November – 7pm

Saturday 16th November- 10am and 2pm

 

The post holder will be required:

  • To provide a professional, effective and efficient customer service within North Wales Police with the aim of ‘getting it right first time’
  • To resolve issues raised by members of the public with an emphasis on first contact resolution wherever possible.
  • To be responsible for resolution and deployment recommendations using a range of systems in a pressurised and reactive environment.
  • To accurately record information on force systems.
  • To receive, interpret, analyse, and disseminate information.

 

Level 4/5 Welsh language skills are essential for this post. Please refer to the NWP Welsh Language Skills Policy for details on your eligibility criteria and learning commitments throughout probation.

 

Please note the successful applicant(s) will be required to provide a 2 year commitment to this role.

The recruitment process will be as follows:

  • PIR, typing test & welsh assessment:
  • Interviews
  • Medical Appointments

Successful applicants will be asked to commence within the role and be available to attend the whole of the 6 week course which will run from 9-5, Monday to Friday. Course dates will be confirmed. The course concludes with applicants sitting a pass or fail examination.

This is a full time post however staff members interested in job share are welcome to apply. Consideration may be given to working an alternative shift pattern (allowances may be effected)

 

NWP Staff within a probationary period or who are subject to a time commitment in their current role which still applies are not permitted to apply.

 

Special Officers who have achieved Independent Patrol Status and have continued to work the minimum number of duty hours per week (4 hours) may apply for internal police staff vacancies.

 

Current Agency Staff with more than 12 continuous months’ service (as at publication date of advert) are permitted to apply for this vacancy.
