An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Heddlu Dyfed-Powys Police as a Business Support Apprentice – HR.

Who are Heddlu Dyfed- Powys Police?

We are the largest geographical police force in England and Wales, proudly serving the communities of Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, and Powys. The population we serve may be small in numbers (around 515,000 people) but the dynamic landscape means we must be innovative with our policing approach to cater for our communities differing needs, which includes a vibrant tourist economy during the summer months.

What you will be doing?

Role specific Tasks

  • To maintain records on electronic systems by scanning and uploading documents.
  • To assist the HR Support Officers with administrative duties associated with recruitment and selection processes and establishment monitoring.
  • To act as a point of contact for any queries into the department.
  • To provide support and resilience within the department when necessary.

Qualification

As part of this role, you will work towards attaining a Level 3 CIPD foundation Certificate in People Practice.

If successful at interview, you will be asked to provide a copy of your certificate which shows you have achieved Grades A - C, in Mathematics and English language GCSE (or equivalent level 2 qualification).

  • This vacancy is temporary for 24 months.
  • The successful candidate will be subject to vetting and medical checks.

We ask that all Dyfed-Powys police staff and officers can communicate to Level 1 standard.
