We are not currently open for recruitment; however, Dyfed-Powys Police are offering an opportunity to register an interest for the role of a Special Constable in readiness for our next recruitment campaign in April 2023.

Being a Special Constable is a unique opportunity to do something special, both for yourself and your community whilst providing you with invaluable experiences and training that you can use throughout your life to achieve your personal or professional goals.

By registering your interest, you will receive:

• Updates and information relating to future recruitment campaigns
• Notification of the next recruitment campaign
• Invite to familiarisation events

Following your registration, we will also invite you to an online familiarisation event where you’ll be given an opportunity to gain an insight into the:

• Role of a Volunteer Special Constable
• Recruitment and selection process
• Training programme
• Positive action support

There will also be a chance for you to ask any questions to a serving special constable and the recruitment team.
