We are looking for someone to #JoinUs as a Fleet Data Researcher in our Fleet Management Department in Bridgend. Could you be who we are looking for?
About the team/Department you will be joining:
You will be working to the Fleet Operations Manager and producing work for the Fleet Management Team. The department oversees the maintenance and administration of approximately 1,000 vehicles from across the force area.
Within the Fleet Department there are 12 technicians, 4 administrators and the management team.
The department operates a flexible working policy with a mix of office based and working from home.
About the role and your key responsibilities:
The role will be instrumental in providing the Senior management team with reports generated from the Fleet database and other sources, to help improve productivity and savings for South Wales Police
You will be required to present the data in a clear and concise format as it could subsequently be presented at Chief Officer meetings by the Head of Fleet.
You must have an excellent analytical approach to your work which will be imperative for the role.
You will have to provide various reports relating to the forces fleet of vehicles which will be required on a weekly and monthly basis.
Provide relevant data for Freedom of Information requests.
What skills and experience do we need you to bring to the role:
You should have the ability to collect and analyse data and information accurately and be able to produce performance reports on your findings.
You must be able to demonstrate the ability to research, collate, analyse and disseminate data collected in a professional manner.
You must be able to manage your own workload.
You must have a high level of both written and oral communication skills.
This role is suitable for part time/job share workers due to operational requirements.
The successful Candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to RV Vetting.
