Senior Internal Communications Officer

 South Wales Police is looking for a Senior Communications officer to join our team of communication specialists. 

You will have experience of working in corporate communications and be a skilled internal communications professional who can plan, create and manage compelling content. Forward planning skills, an eye for detail and a track record of running eye-catching and innovative internal communications campaigns is essential. 

You should also be able to demonstrate experience in utilising a broad range of channels, be up to speed on photo and video editing and infographics, and quick to pick up new tools and techniques.  A great team leader you should also be a great writer, comfortable working across multiple communications disciplines with a good understanding of social media, print & broadcast media.

This role is not suitable for part time/job share workers due to operational requirements.

The successful Candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to MV/SC Vetting.

Please be aware that if your current post is within the Public Service Centre, if you were employed after 1st February 2017 you must have completed 2 years’ tenured service before applying for any other roles.
