Investigative Trainer

To be responsible for the training, administration and development of all South Wales Police officers, staff and external bodies as necessary. To undertake their powers under the law to prevent, investigate and detect crime. To write, deliver and Co-ordinate all aspects of Investigative training including Specialist interview and all PIP Courses. The role is based at Bridgend but there will be a requirement for the successful applicant to work at training locations in Bridgend, Swansea and Cardiff when necessary.
The applicant must be an experienced investigator. A teaching qualification would be advantageous but is not essential as the successful applicant will be afforded the opportunity and time to achieve a Certificate in Education and Training.
It would also be advantageous to have a knowledge of Cybercrime and online investigation.

The successful Candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to MV/SC Vetting.
Please be aware that if your current post is within the Public Service Centre, if you were employed after 1st February 2017 you must have completed 2 years’ tenured service before applying for any other roles.
