Intelligence Analyst

The Tarian Regional Organised Crime Unit (ROCU) are seeking to recruit a Regional Intelligence Analyst to work within the Regional Organised Crime Threat Assessment (ROCTA) Team, as part of the wider ROCU Research & Analysis capability. The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of effective and efficient analysis in support of the identification and assessment of the serious and organised crime threat impacting on the southern Wales region.

The role will play a key part in the serious and organised crime tasking processes within the region, including maintaining an understanding of the tactical intelligence picture across the region; identification of new and emerging serious and organised crime threats; providing insight into the organised crime threat being investigated by the ROCU and local police forces and partner agencies; and understanding the impact of law enforcement activity against the serious and organised crime threat.

As part of the wider ROCU Research & Analysis capability, there will be opportunities to work in other areas of regional intelligence analysis, including operational/investigative support and strategic threat analysis. Please note that whilst there will be a requirement to attend the office as and when required, there is a great deal of flexibility within the role for remote working/working from home.

The successful Candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to MV, SC Vetting.
