We are looking for someone to #JoinUs as an Internal Communications Officer in our Communications and Media team.

About the team/Department you will be joining:

The role of the team is to engage police officers, staff and volunteers so that they understand the mission, vision and values of the organisation, and are equipped to successfully fulfil their role.

It’s a role where no two days are the same and you will get plenty of opportunities to work on several force and department priority areas.

We work from Headquarters, Bridgend at least two days a week (subject to departmental needs) with the option to work from home or other locations across the force the rest of the week.

 

About the role and your key responsibilities:

The team is responsible for producing content which is delivered via various channels including the force intranet. The successful candidate will work alongside the wider Communications and Media Team to help bring ideas to life.

All activity supports our priorities as outlined in the Chief Constable’s Delivery Plan and our Communications Strategy as we work together to help keep South Wales safe.

What skills and experience do we need you to bring to the role:

Ideally the successful candidate will be an experienced communications practitioner with knowledge of internal communications in particular. They will be comfortable working in a fast-paced complex environment and used to working under pressure, using their own initiative to the get the job done. This role is suitable for part time/job share workers 

The successful Candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to MV/SC Vetting.
