South Wales Police are seeking to recruit a number of Data Management Indexer/Officers to work within our innovative and dynamic National Data Management Unit.
You will form part of the Data Management Indexing team, providing efficient, proficient and effective service regarding all aspects of Data Management Administration and Investigation. You will work across multiple databases, research and cross reference intelligence through secured databases and would be expected to identify key lines of enquiry, raising this information when required.

Post holders will be working on a Monday to Friday shift rota. In accordance with this shift pattern you will receive 20% shift allowance.
This post is suitable for job share.
It is essential that candidates are prepared to successfully complete the enhanced security clearance and developed vetting process. The post holders will also require the successful completion of an additional security induction process, part of which requires pre-screening checks of nationality and foreign connections.
You will also be required to have lived within the UK for a minimum of 10 years in order to be suitable for this level of vetting required.
The successful Candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to MV/SC/DV Vetting.
Please note, if you are subject to an ongoing PSD investigation, you appointment or placement in the role may be delayed pending an outcome. Whether the role is held open will be considered on a case-by-case basis
It must be stressed that in addition to developed vetting and force management vetting, candidates must achieve both clearances to take up this post and also attend and pass the required National Training Courses.
