We have an exciting opportunity for an Emergency Planning Intern to join us a period of 12 months where you will provide day to day administrative assistance, project support and research duties to the team.

This unique opportunity will provide you with the invaluable experience of contributing to the Force Planning Department, being involved in writing, and reviewing emergency plans, working closely with local resilience forums and providing project work focusing on forward planning with Welsh Government around emergency planning to include a dossier of contingency plan threat and risk.

The internship will commence in September 2023 and to be eligible you will be currently studying for a degree in a relevant subject which may include Business/Project Management or have graduated within the last 3 years. You will need to have excellent IT skills and be able to produce high quality, comprehensive, logical, and structured reports. You will have Knowledge or qualification of Civil contingencies act.
