We are looking for someone to #JoinUs as an Offender Manager/ MOSOVO officer within our Offender Manager Unit. We have positions available across the 3 BCUs but some travel within the force area may be required for meetings, training and engagement. Could you be who we are looking for?
About the team/Department you will be joining:
The department is responsible for the management of registered sex offenders within the community. We work with partner agencies to ensure the efficient management of registered sex offenders.
The team work a variety of days, afternoons and weekends.
About the role and your key responsibilities:
As part of the offender manager unit, you will be responsible for the management of Registered Sex Offenders. You will be required to police the legislation; this includes the notification requirements under the sex offences act 2003 and orders such as Sexual Harm Prevention Orders (SHPO) and Sexual Risk Orders (SRO).
Your will be responsible for completing risk assessments and risk management plans to mitigate the risk of further offending.
What skills and experience do we need you to bring to the role:
Ideally a candidate would have previous experience in a similar role and have excellent communication skills.
