To support this search for talented individuals we are introducing an exciting route to becoming a police officer. To be eligible to apply to our DIPP programme, applicants must be in receipt or due to attain (by end of academic period 24/25) their Degree in Professional Policing. The PEQF (Policing Education Qualifications Framework) was introduced as a professional framework for the training of police officers and staff and is based upon a new modern curriculum aligned with the education levels set in England and Wales which supports the development of policing as a profession. The professional framework is extended to specialist routes into policing and we are offering an exciting opportunity to enter our Degree Holder Entry Programme.
Eligible candidates will be invited to an assessment centre to determine suitability for the high standards we require.

The salary will start at £29,907.

You will be invited to compete the national sift please note this needs to be completed within 7 days of your invitation or by the closing time/date of the advert whichever is the soonest.
South Wales Police will reduce the period of the advert if sufficient applications are achieved.

If you have been unsuccessful in an Assessment Center in the last three months or twice in the past twelve months with South Wales or any other force, unfortunately you will not be eligible to apply on this occasion.
